Paramedical Eligibility Criteria
DIETICIAN: B.Sc.
Degree in Science with
Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics (OR) B.Sc. Degree in Home Science plus
M.Sc. Home Science (Food and Nutrition).
DENTAL
HYGIENIST: (1) Degree in Science (Biology). (2) Diploma/Certificate
Course (2 years) in Dental Hygiene. (3) Registered with the Dental Council of
India as Dental Hygienist. (4) 2 years experience as Dental Hygienist.
DIALYSIS TECHNICIAN: B.Sc. Degree with Diploma in Haemodialysis (OR) 2 years
satisfactory in-house training/experience in Haemodialysis work in a reputed
institution.
EXTENSION
EDUCATOR: Graduation in Sociology/Social Work/Community Education disciplines
with a 2-year diploma in Health Education.
HEALTH
AND MALARIA INSPECTOR GRADE III: B.Sc. degree having studied
Chemistry as Main/Optional subject in any branch of Chemistry while undertaking
the course. One year Diploma of Health/Sanitary Inspector (OR) One year
National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Health Sanitary Inspector.
LAB
SUPERINTENDENT GRADE III: B.Sc with Biochemistry/Microbiology/Life
Science/B.Sc with Chemistry and Biology as main or as optional/subsidiary
subjects or equivalent plus Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) or
equivalent (OR) B.Sc in Medical Technology (Laboratory).
OPTOMETRIST: B.Sc in Optometry or Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician (the
course should be of 3 to 4 years duration). The candidate should have
registration with the concerned council/licensing body.
PHYSIOTHERAPIST: (1)
Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy. (2) 2 years practical experience in
Physiotherapy.
PHARMACIST
GRADE III: 10+2 in Science or
its equivalent, with Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized institution and
registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (OR) Bachelor’s degree in
Pharmacy (B.Pharma) from a recognized university or equivalent and registered
as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
RADIOGRAPHER: 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry and Diploma in
Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology (2 years course) from a
recognized institute. Science graduates
with a Diploma in Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology (2
years course) shall be preferred.
SPEECH THERAPIST: (1) B.Sc Degree and Diploma in Audio and
Speech Therapy. (2) 2 years experience in the related field.
LADY HEALTH VISITOR: Matric with 12th class pass with multipurpose
workers course.
LAB ASSISTANT GRADE II: 10+2 stage in Science plus
Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) (OR) Certificate Course in
Medical Lab with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT).
✅ Railway Paramedical Selection Process
Railway Paramedical selection
will be made through a Single Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT). There will be
negative marking for incorrect answers in the CBT. One-third of the marks
allotted for each question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically Backward Class.
